Restorative Yoga Intensive Training with Kim Korson | Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22

Restorative Yoga Intensive Training with Kim Korson

This immersive program is designed for yoga practitioners and/or yoga teachers who wish to deepen their understanding and practice of restorative yoga. In this training, you will learn how to promote deep rest and healing through exploration of the following:

  • An elementary review of the nervous system will serve as a foundation for our discussion. Understanding the nervous system provides a starting point to review the principles and practice of restorative yoga.
  • Learning to create a safe and nurturing environment for practice, whether practitioner or teacher, using props to support the body in each pose.
  • Practicing and/or observing a wide array of postures, including variations and minor tweaks that have major impact on the nervous system. Most of our time will be dedicated to posture set-up and creation.
  • Understanding sequencing elements that support rest and rejuvenation.
  • Gaining greater awareness of your body, breath, and inner landscape using techniques such as breathwork and guided meditation.

By the end of this intensive training, you will have the skills and knowledge to confidently guide yourself or students through a restorative yoga practice, promoting overall well-being.

Join us for this transformative experience and take your practice and/or teaching to the next level!
