Yoga for Osteoporosis Prevention and Radiant Aging Weekend Workshop Friday, December 4 – Sunday, December 6 with Randy Boyd E-RYT 500, Yoga Therapist (IAYT) and Certified Instructor for Yoga and Bone Health. Randy will be in-studio in Beavercreek, Ohio. A livestream option will also be available.
At about age 35 our body slowly begins to loss muscle, bone strength, joint health, lung function and balance. Science has shown in multiple studies that yoga practiced in a certain way can slow down or even help reverse this aging process. Learn why and how! Asana included with variations and adaptations. Perfect for teachers as well as students.
Friday 12/4 – 5:30 – 8:00 pm – Introduction and Overview – Asana for all levels included.
Saturday 12 / 5 – 11:30-2:00 pm – Healthy Spine and Healthy Joints – Learn how and why it is important to honor the nature curves of the spine and how to align the joints to keep them healthy. Asana for all levels with modifications.
Saturday 12/5 – 3:30- 6:00 pm – Strong Muscles and Healthy Bones. Asana for all levels with modifications.
Sunday 12/6 – 11:30-2:00 pm Creating Balance and Improving breath for Radiant Aging. Focus on balancing poses and breath with modifications for all students.
