Saturday, April 5 from 11:45 am – 1:45 pm 

“Vinyasa” is the common sequence which involves the linking of three specific postures found in a Sun Salutation: Chaturanga (Chaturanga Dandasana), Upward Facing Dog (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana), and Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana). This workshop will up the ante by starting with Plank (Phalakasana).

Kim will guide you through an experiential investigation of the vinyasa sequence that meets your needs. Be prepared to move and flow! During this workshop you will:

1. Approach the vinyasa with a Beginner’s Mind as you experiment  with micro-changes to each posture
2. Build strength and minimize injury by focusing on the structural integrity and muscular activation of each posture 
3. Learn variations and strategies for using props
4. Practice safely transitioning from one posture to the next

This content is appropriate for individuals interested in exploring the vinyasa sequence in their personal yoga practice, or as an aspiring or current yoga teacher. This workshops provides CEUs with the Yoga Alliance.
