Barb Morsa E-RYT500, YACEP

Co-founder of Indigo Yoga and Director of the Indigo Teacher Training Program, Barb began her yoga journey through meditation. After being introduced to mindfulness meditation in high school, the experience launched a lifetime journey into Eastern thought, religion and philosophy. She completed a B.A. in Philosophy at Drew University and a J.D. at the University of Dayton, practicing law in the public and private sector for 1o years before devoting herself to the full-time practice and study of yoga. Since then, she has continued her studies in Buddhism, Vedanta, and Yoga.

Barb completed her 200 hour and her 500 hour advanced teacher training at YogahOMe in Cincinnati and is certified as an E-RYT500 and Yoga Alliance Continuing Educational Provider. A perpetual student, Barb continues to study with many national and international teachers. She has been most influenced by her work with Rod Stryker, founder of ParaYoga and Senior Iyengar teacher, Manouso Manos. She feels blessed to have studied with many gifted teachers, including Doug Keller, Richard Rosen, Matthew Sanford, Gary Kraftsow, Lilias Folan, and Erich Schiffman, among others.

Barb brings humor, compassion and wisdom to all of her classes, which blend asana, pranayama and mindfulness techniques. Her heart-centered classes include vinyasa, hatha, and restorative yoga. Both in her teaching and in life, she considers it an honor and her true dharma to help others remember their true Self, through direct experience of body, mind and soul.
